Educators have found that using Google Earth can be beneficial and fun in teaching science. The fact shows that teachers have included online options to explore science outside of the classroom inside the lesson plan. Here, a new version of Google Earth will allow everyone to explore the oceans, view images of the planet Mars and observe the changing regions of the earth over time. Google Earth provide users with access to geographical information by way of digital maps, satellite imagery and Google search tools. The capacity of the new program educate students on science in relation to our planet and beyond. New Google Earth platform was conceived more than three years ago when a scientist highlighted the software itself was missing the water that covers nearly three-quarters of the earth’s surface.

This new application will improve the lesson plan for science as they will be able to go under the surface of the ocean and explore three-dimensional images of the terrain that exists underwater. Students can access the Historical Imagery feature to archive satellite images of individual locations to see how the region has evolved over time. Since schools are not built in the same time, most schools building which were built decades ago do not support the students need nowadays.
